Creating an Account

Setting up an account so you can shop with us is easy and will only take a few moments. You can either set up your account before you start browsing for items to buy or once you have added your items into your basket and are proceeding to checkout.

How to set up an account before shopping

Click on the ‘sign in /register’

Under ‘New Customers’ click the register button

On the ‘Create an Account page Enter your email address, memorable password and country of residence before clicking continue.

Enter your full name, address and contact information on the registration form. Please include both home telephone and mobile number. Your mobile number will be used to send delivery messages to and can be useful for contact by our courier on the day of delivery.

You will then proceed to your Account Management page from where you can either continue shopping or select your account options.

An email will be sent to you confirming your registration.

How to set up an account before checkout

The steps to do this are the same as the steps shown above in setting up an account before shopping.

Placing an Order

To place an order, simply click on the item shown on the product list page, view the full details for the item you have selected and then click on the add to basket button once you have checked that you have selected the correct size and colour should these apply. The item will then be added to your basket. You can view the items in your basket at any stage by clicking on the View Basket link at the top of the page.

In Stock Items: All items shown as ‘In stock’ can normally be delivered either on a next working day service or within a standard delivery timescale of 2 to 4 working days.

Supplier despatched orders: Some items may need to be specially ordered from our suppliers and in these instances a message showing a delivery of 7 to 10 days will be given.

By Phone only orders: Please note that some items may only be ordered by telephone due to the nature of the products. These items include Ascot stabling products, items requiring personalisation (e.g. embroidery) or other items such as large or unusually sized stable, yard and field products.

Once you have finished selecting your items and you have checked your basket, you can proceed to register your contact details before completing the purchase process. In this process you will be asked to set up a password to access your account. You will also have the option of providing a separate delivery address if required.

If you are already registered with Derby House, simply enter your username and password before completing the checkout process.

You can review your order before making your payment and make any necessary amendments at this stage.

Once you have successfully made your payment, you will receive an order reference followed by an order confirmation email. If for any reason you do not receive your order confirmation email within an hour of placing your order, please call our customer services team on Tel: 08455 209 209 or contact us using the online contact form and we will check that your order has been received.

Payment Options

We offer a choice of payment methods for your convenience including Visa Debit, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro, Derby House Paper or Online Gift Vouchers.

Redeeming an Online Voucher

To redeem your Online Gift Voucher simply follow the steps below.

  1. Visit our Web site at
  2. Select the items you wish to order, using your Shopping Basket.
  3. During the checkout process, enter your 16 Digit claim code into the box “Voucher Code” and click the "Add" button.

You will be able to see that the value of your online gift voucher has been deducted from the total cost in the order summary.

Please note: if there is any credit remaining from the online gift voucher you have used then this will show on the summary of your order review page and be ready for your next order with us. This will automatically default as your first method of payment on your next order(s) until the balance is used.If your order total exceeds the value of your online gift voucher, you will be asked to provide a credit or debit card number or redeem another online gift voucher to pay the balance.

Changing your Account Details

If you wish to make any changes to your account details, please login to your account online and select the appropriate Account Management option. These include;

  • Manage my Address
  • Change Sign-in Details
  • View my Orders
