The best selling riding helmet in the world that passes Snell E2001.
Snell E2001 is the highest manufactured equestrian helmet standard in the world and includes a unique test that simulates a rider falling into a fence rail, or having a secondary hit from a horse's hoof.
This helmet features a top quality leather four point harness, Gatehouse Airflow lining and high performance safety buckle. This helmet also comes with its own complimentary carry/storage bag.
Suitable for competition under FEI, British Riding Club, Pony Club and HRA rules.
Please note that the Gatehouse HS1 Special Edition is approved to the demanding Snell E2001 test criteria and DOES NOT require the KITEMARK when riding under rules.
The BSEN 1384 riding hat standard has recently been withdrawn by the governing body in charge of standard regulation. If you are a leisure rider and you do not compete, you will not be directly affected by this change as it is still a safe standard of hat to use. However, please ensure you check with any insurance companies or riding establishments that your standard of hat meets their requirements. If you are a competition rider and you ride in affiliated competitions, you must confirm with the governing body under whose rules you compete what standards are acceptable to them before entering the competition.
