Naughty Or Nice Photo Competition
And the winner is…
It seems Santa certainly had his work cut out for him with the Derby House horses this year. From carrots to rugs, whether Naughty or Nice, it seems our four-legged friends did well out of the jolly man this year with not a speck of coal in sight!
With the mince pies almost finished and only the dregs of the chocolate tub left, what better way to extend Christmas further than by announcing the winner of the Christmas Fair Isle patterned rug from the Derby House Pro range?
This year, the winner of our #NaughtyorNice competition is Morgan ‘Louise’ Nicholson!
Our judges were so sorry to hear of the loss of Morgan’s previous horse that we wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer by awarding her new horse Duke a lovely Derby House rug.
“A short time ago I was totally devastated when I lost my beloved mare. I have been lucky enough to get a new horse, Duke, but nothing belonging to my mare fits him. Then I lost my job, so clothing him is now a bit of a struggle. My lovely Mum and Dad treated me/him to some lovely Christmas presents - and here he is wearing his new saddlecloth, hi-viz sheet and bonnet, his Xmas hat and his Xmas noseband complete with jungle bells !!!!! Winning a rug for him would be a major bonus, especially as the weather here is really grim. Duke has been such a good boy since I got him, and has helped me enormously to come to terms with losing my mare - so he should definitely be on Santa's VERY NICE list…”
But Santa’s gift giving doesn’t stop there. We were so overwhelmed by all of your entries that we’ve decided to award a further 3 runners-up with a Derby House gift voucher! Be sure to head to Derby House Post to see these alongside some of our favourite entries from the competition in our #NaughtyorNice gallery.
Congratulations to our runners-up, you’ve all won yourself a £10 Derby House gift voucher:
Josephine Allen and Little Dot
“Dotty was taken on in September in a very depleted state and had everybody in tears but the only way is up and she’s done everyone proud within months. She and her owners are definitely on the nice list! #NaughtyorNice”
Michelle Ridgwell and Chicco
“Chicco is on the naughty list this year and he's not been on he's best behaviour , although he is such a cutie ( when he's being good ) that he will still be spoilt”
Mandy Allen and Cara’s pony
“This is the 1st year my daughter Cara has had her own pony - and has spent all of her pocket money buying this horse toy for her pony!”
