At Derby House we are committed to supporting our sport. Whilst we are unable to support individuals, we do believe in contributing financially through sponsorship for events and series. We have found this is the best way to help the sport develop and grow to the benefit of all of us.
Derby House sponsors a range of activities to encompass many different areas of equestrianism from grass roots level through to professional.
We cannot possibly help everyone who contacts us and so have chosen the Riding for the Disabled charity for 2007.
The purpose of the BSJA is to improve and maintain standards of show jumping, while encouraging members of all standards and at all levels to enjoy fair competition over safe and attractive courses. The Association has classes to cater for all levels of ability whether you simply want to compete occasionally at weekends over a 2'9" course or aim eventually, for top class competitions at the Royal International Horse Show, Horse of the Year Show or Olympia.
Derby House is very excited to have teamed up with the British Show Jumping Association for 2007. We are the sponsor for the Winter Novice Championships and the Senior British Novice Championship.
Dressage is the fastest growing equestrian discipline. British Dressage offers many sponsorship opportunities reaching an audience of horse owners committed to excellence. Whether it be purchasing quality horses, the equipment they buy or indeed their own clothing, dressage riders are a very discerning group. Nothing but the best will do. The elegance and discipline of dressage is clearly reflected in the people who take part.
Derby House are providing commemorative stable plaques for all competitors at the Summer Area Finals.
This is a very unique competition in that it is the only dressage competition in Europe that has the following format. Horses are trotted up in hand then ride a freestyle test. The top ten then come forward to be assessed for Star Quality. The finals are held at Badminton House in July. Please see the full list of qualifying venues.
The equestrian sport of Eventing is one in which Britain is highly successful on the world stage and is one of the few in which women and men compete on equal terms. Each event is pro-am; even at the smaller events where world class riders compete against amateurs.
In 2007 Derby House are once again sponsoring the British Eventing Pony Team, who took Gold at the European Championships in 2005. Britain's Laura Collett also took individual Bronze.
Pictured here are the winning team consisting of Emily llewellyn, Emma Hancox, Laura Collett, Olivia Craddock and Tor Davis.
RDA is dedicated to ensuring that all our riders and carriage drivers receive a high standard of professional tuition tailored to their personal ambitions and capabilities. The RDA instructors work closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to encourage every individual to aim for attainable goals - some modest, others far more ambitious.
Derby House is the main sponsor for the RDA.
We also sponsor the photographic competition and the Horse/Pony and rider competition. Pictured here are the photo competition winners from 2005
