Summer is the time when extra daylight and good weather will allow you to really enjoy the benefits of horse ownership.

There is no mud, no mucking out every day, no changing wet, smelly rugs and more time to ride. However with the sun and warmer temperatures come the flies, midges and sunburn.

All horses are susceptible to flies and fly bites although horses with pale and sensitive thin skin tend to suffer the most. This is also the case with sunburn.

The Field Relief Max Fly Mask helps horse who are troubled by flies by forming an impenetrable barrier, whilst at the same time providing protection from sunburn for sensitive faces and muzzles.

In conjunction with The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon, Equilibrium have developed a donkey mask to help protect the donkey (and his huge ears) from flies and midges too.

The Field Relief Midi Fly Mask gives excellent protection from flies throughout summer, whilst ensuring a perfectly comfortable fit thanks to adjustable fastenings behind the ears and under the cheeks and the padded brow and nose areas. The mask is designed to give maximum clearance to eyes and eye lashes whilst maintaining excellent visibility, making it ideal for veterans, visually impaired or spooky horses.

Made of 'Solar Screen 80' mesh, the Field Relief Muzzle protector blocks out 80% of the sun's harmful UV rays. The Field Relief Muzzle Protector does not restrict the horses ability to eat or drink and may also be used while riding, simply by attaching to the bridle's nosebands.

Net Relief Muzzle Net offers effective relief from all the symptoms of head shaking. A shaped mesh that fits neatly over the horse's muzzle and attaches to the bridle by the padded noseband. The Net Relief Muzzle Net improves 79% of sufferers (Clinical Trials - De Montfort University, UK).

Very easy to use and very discreet, Net Relief is permitted by British Dressage and British Eventing for use in competition (see rules applying to the use of muzzle nets for each organisation).

The Net Relief riding mask is another innovative product that has been designed for riding in warmer months when flies are a nuisance. The mask simply and safely attaches to the bridle and can be left in place when tacking up and untacking.
