The month of September saw more than 400 of you pout, pucker and pose with your horses to enter the Derby House #HorseSelfie competition. Entrants were required to submit a selfie of themselves and their horse for a chance to win a fun and luxurious polkadot combo turnout rug from the brand new Derby House autumn and winter equestrian rug range.
Our very own #HorseSelfie enthusiast judge, Sian Lovatt from www.sianlovatt.blogspot.co.uk, chose Sophie Hurst as the winner of the competition and the polkadot combo rug. Sian loved Sophie’s #HorseSelfie and chose it because “it just made me think it must be how all our equines feel about us taking endless selfies!”
Horses up and down the country were posed with and papped. From Cornwall to Caithness, you all proved that duck pouts are a thing of the past and that the #HorseSelfie is here to stay! We were so overwhelmed by your entries that we decided to reward five runners-up with £10 Derby House vouchers to say thank you.
