If you’ve ever dreamed of being an equestrian TV presenter, now’s your chance.  Open auditions are being held by equestrian TV channel Horse & Country during the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.

Budding presenters can simply turn up to Horse & Country’s stand and film an audition. The winning entrant will have the chance to interview a top rider for a future episode of hit show Rudall’s Round-Up presented by Jenny Rudall.

The interview will appear on Horse & Country TV but who knows what it could lead to?!

The Horse & Country team will be on hand at stand number 262 on Beaufort Way, ready to film the audition tapes. Entrants will have one minute to talk direct to camera on any one of three topics:

  • Why I love Badminton
  • Why I love my horse
  • Why I love Horse & Country TV

Every day throughout Badminton H&C TV will be putting the best auditions up on their website and, from these, our panel of expert judges will chose a winner who will get the chance to attend a future recording of Rudall’s Round-Up (with a friend) and interview a top rider, with Jenny on hand to provide expert guidance.

The interview will appear on Horse & Country TV but who knows what it could lead to?!

There’ll be two filming sessions every day at Badminton. To audition, simply come along to the H&C stand between 11am and 1pm or 3pm and 5pm Wednesday to Saturday, or 11am to 1pm only on Sunday.

In the meantime, grab your selfie stick and start practicing!

Entrants under the age of 18 will need to bring along their parents or guardian to give their written permission to take part.
