By the look of some of 2016’s stunning foals, competition in the showing world is going to be hotter than ever in years to come. Here’s our pick of the cutest fillies and colts around.

Sharon Harrison’s first foal (also pictured at the top of the page) is out of her multi-champion coloured mare Chantilly Lace by Horse of the Year Show winner Boston.

This delightful filly, named Heniarth Arietta, was born on the late May bank holiday and is by Heniarth Wood-Wind out of Rhoson Anoushka.

Jane Townshend’s Up With The Lark foal is out of her much-garlanded riding horse, Classictop Sweet Enough.

    Wow! They are indeed really cute. I think my favorite would be Victor. He looks really gentle and sweet. As well as the white one Moth, he looks gentle too. And othfill hilly , he looks really classy to be honest.
